❤️ Why We Give Back! ❤️

Our third child, Sawyer, was born with a Congenital Heart Defect. (CHD) 

We spent six weeks in the hospital.  During that time, Sawyer experienced his first planned heart surgery at six days old.  He had an additional emergency heart surgery, and multiple planned tests & procedures.  

Sawyer was with us on earth for ten weeks.  These were some of the most blessed and hardest weeks of our lives.  Throughout that time we had a support system far beyond any we’d seen during our time at the hospital. We had jobs that allowed us both to be with our son throughout his entire hospital stay.  Our parents moved into our home to take care of our other small children while we were away. These were immeasurable blessings.  When you are in the hospital with a critically ill child, your world stops spinning, but the rest of the world does not.  We spent time with so many families that were missing out on their income, not having care for their children at home, parents having to be alone all day every day making very difficult decisions, and the list goes on.

Sawyer’s life has driven our passion for supporting heart families throughout every part of their journey.  We want every family to feel the love and support that we did.

We donate $1 from every sale to families of children born with a congenital heart defect.  Families use the funds for things like gas, food, lodging, bills, and the immense amount of expenses that accumulate so quickly while you're residing in a hospital.
